Florida Roads Contracting, LLC.
Rick Baker has served as the CEO of Florida Roads Contracting since June 1998. He also serves as the CEO for Florida Road Contracting affiliates: Florida Roads Trucking, Florida Curb Contracting, and Masters Road Clean Concrete Recycling Facility.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida State University in 1988.
Thomas Hyatt, Jr.
Tommy joined Florida Roads Contracting in 1998 and currently manages all phases of development and underground utility construction. He has been in the construction industry since 1973. Tommy is DOT certified and has received awards for Safety Achievement as well as Production Management.
Mike has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 1998 and is responsible for overseeing risk management, human resources, safety, Florida Roads Trucking and Florida Curb Contracting. He is an FDOT EEO officer, member of the National Society Human Resource Management, and was the past president of the American Society of Training and Development from 1985 to 1992. Mike graduated from University of North Florida with a Masters of Education, Administration and Supervision and previously from Jacksonville University with a B.S. in Education.
Office & Financial Manager
Lori has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2004 and has been doing office management, administrative support, book keeping and project control since 1990. Her duties include payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciling accounts, invoicing, and human resources.
Matt has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2005 and has been in construction since 2005. His responsibilities include cost estimating projects, scheduling, invoicing, billing, project management, client correspondence, and preparing cost estimate proposals along with managing civil construction projects which include underground utilities and all roadway infrastructure. He is a member of Northeast Florida Utility Contractor’s Association and UCANF Education Committee. Matt is also a storm water management inspector for St. Johns Water Management District.
John has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2011 and has been in construction since 1991. His responsibilities include: takeoffs, securing sub prices, subcontractor negotiations, scheduling updates, billing, code invoices and client relations.
Rick has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since September 2016 and has been in site construction since 1983. His duties include bidding on new work and managing current work.
Genon has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since September 2016 and has been in construction since 2000. She manages projects currently under construction. She works closely with owners, subcontractors, vendors and county municipalities.
Chief Financial Officer
Tyler has worked with Florida Roads since June 2018. He is responsible for preparing financial statements, auditing accounting processes, implementing internal controls, examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting records, and advising management of results and process improvements. Tyler graduated from Jacksonville University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

Florida Roads Trucking, LLC.
Rusty has been with Florida Roads since 2019 and he supervises Florida Roads Trucking. He oversees all truck drivers and manages scheduling, and works with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper coordination of materials to job sites.
Florida Curb Contracting, LLC.
Mike began his career in the Construction Industry in 1999. His background includes Roadway Construction and Concrete Flatwork/Curb. He joined Florida Roads in 2014 as a General Site Superintendent. Due to his expertise in the concrete field, we are pleased that he is undertaking a new role with Florida Curb Contracting as he will be in charge of scheduling and managing projects.
