Chief Financial Officer
Tyler has worked with Florida Roads since June 2018. He is responsible for preparing financial statements, auditing accounting processes, implementing internal controls, examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting records, and advising management of results and process improvements. Tyler graduated from Jacksonville University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Rick Baker has served as the CEO of Florida Roads Contracting since June 1998. He also serves as the CEO for Florida Road Contracting affiliates: Florida Roads Trucking, Florida Curb Contracting, and Masters Road Clean Concrete Recycling Facility.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Florida State University in 1988.
Thomas Hyatt, Jr.
Tommy joined Florida Roads Contracting in 1998 and currently manages all phases of development and underground utility construction. He has been in the construction industry since 1973. Tommy is DOT certified and has received awards for Safety Achievement as well as Production Management.
Wesley joined Florida Roads Contracting in 2017. Wesley oversees safety, loss prevention, internal investigations, human resources, Florida Roads Trucking, and fleet management. He is the FDOT EEO officer. Wesley serves as a member on the board of directors for NUCA North Florida. Wesley graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in 2005 and has over 10 years of Law enforcement experience. He has also worked in Afghanistan for multiple deployments as a civilian contractor in the Security field.
Office & Financial Manager
Lori has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2004 and has been doing office management, administrative support, book keeping and project control since 1990. Her duties include payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciling accounts, invoicing, and human resources.
Galen joined Florida Roads Contracting in 2002 as a Field Service Technician and became the Fleet Manager in 2005. His responsibilities include management of office maintenance facilities, supervision, dispatching of all service technicians, maintenance and recordkeeping of owned and rented heavy equipment, as well as small line equipment/tools which includes GPS tracking of all fleet vehicles.
Matt has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2005 and has been in construction since 2005. His responsibilities include cost estimating projects, scheduling, invoicing, billing, project management, client correspondence, and preparing cost estimate proposals along with managing civil construction projects which include underground utilities and all roadway infrastructure. He is a member of Northeast Florida Utility Contractor’s Association and UCANF Education Committee. Matt is also a storm water management inspector for St. Johns Water Management District.
John has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since 2011 and has been in construction since 1991. His responsibilities include: takeoffs, securing sub prices, subcontractor negotiations, scheduling updates, billing, code invoices and client relations.
Senior Estimator/Meeting Leader
Rick has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since September 2016 and has been in site construction since 1983. His duties include bidding on new work and conducting weekly estimating meetings.
Project Manager/ As-Built Manager
Genon has worked with Florida Roads Contracting since September 2016 and has been in construction since 2000. She manages projects currently under construction. She works closely with owners, subcontractors, vendors and county municipalities.
Kristen joined Florida Roads Contracting in 2017. Kristen’s responsibilities include human resources, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and administrative support. Kristen has been doing human resources, accounting, and administrative support since 2003. Kristen graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Liberty University in 2014 with a Master’s of Science in Accounting.

FDOT Estimator/Project Manager
Travis joined Florida Roads Contracting in February 2020. His main responsibilities are estimating and managing State, County, and Municipality projects. Additional qualifications include many technical, quality, environmental, and safety certifications. He has been an active member of American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) since 2002. Travis graduated from the University of North Florida in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.
Florida Roads Trucking, LLC.
Rusty has worked for Florida Roads Trucking since April 2019. He oversees all truck drivers and manages scheduling. He works with vendors and suppliers to ensure proper coordination of materials to job sites. He has worked in the transportation industry since 1975, from working as a driver, driver trainer, manager, driving school instructor, human resources manager, account executive and a safety professional.
Masters Road Clean Concrete Recycling, LLC
Rusty, Facility Manager for MRCCRF, has worked with Master Road Clean Concrete Recycling Facility since 2019. He supervises the facility, works with contractors & clients in accepting and selling materials.
